Gold Bond® Fire-Shield C™ 1/2" Gypsum Board panels have a specially formulated Type X core to achieve superior performance when used in specific fire-rated Type C assemblies. The lightweight, cost-efficient material readily accepts a wide range of decorative finishes. Fire-Shield C Gypsum Board is easily cut for quick installation, permitting painting or other decoration, and the installation of metal or wood trim almost immediately. Long edges of the panels are tapered or square.
