Description

The Retrofit Induction Unit (RIU) is designed as a direct replacement for older, legacy induction units no longer available through the previous manufacturer. The RIU can be selected to operate at lower static pressures to provide the same capacity as the existing system which can result in significant fan energy savings, or it can be selected to be used with the existing system for a one-to-one swap. It can be installed within existing cabinetry or provided with customized cabinets to update the look of the space. The legacy induction units are typically installed in single zone applications along the perimeter and can be found in facilities such as hospitals and healthcare, universities, condominiums and commercial buildings.
